Health Bridge sends the Apple Health data you choose straight from your iPhone to a PostgreSQL database you own,
such as Neon, Supabase or your own server. Query sleep, recovery, activity and heart metrics in SQL, dashboards or notebooks.
Connect once and securely pull your health metrics from HealthKit.
Background Sync
Keep data fresh automatically without opening the app every day.
Database Ready
Paste your PostgreSQL connection string and sync directly to your private data stack.
What gets exported
Pick from 55 Apple Health data types across sleep, heart, activity, body measurements, respiratory, mobility, nutrition, hearing, mindfulness and vitals, plus workouts.
Daily summaries (the default): one compact row per day in a health_daily table, ready for charts and joins.
Individual records (optional): the original timestamped samples in health_samples, with their source and units, for when a daily total isn't enough.
Health Bridge only exports what Apple Health actually recorded. It never fills gaps with invented readings, and turning a type off stops future exports without deleting rows you already have.
How it works
Allow Apple Health access for the metrics you want to export.
Paste your database connection string. Health Bridge tests it before saving it to your iPhone's Keychain, with specific guidance for Neon and Supabase.
Sync. The tables are created or updated automatically, so there's no schema to write first. Choose how much history to bring in.
Stay current. Background sync keeps recent days up to date without opening the app.
Your data, your database
There's no Health Bridge account and no server in the middle: data goes from HealthKit on your iPhone to the destination you configure. The app's own analytics never include health values, database addresses or raw samples.
Questions
How do I export Apple Health data?
The Health app can export everything as one large XML file (profile picture → Export All Health Data). That's fine for a one-off. Health Bridge is for keeping the data in a real database, structured by day or sample and updated as you go.
Which databases work?
Any PostgreSQL-compatible database you can reach with a connection string, including Neon, Supabase and self-hosted PostgreSQL.
Can I get detailed readings, not just daily totals?
Yes. Turn on individual records for the types you care about and Health Bridge exports each sample with its timestamp, alongside the daily summary.
Does Health Bridge see my health data?
No. It moves the data you select from your iPhone to your database, and nothing else stores it.
